About The Workshop :
As part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, the Department of Civil Engineering is organizing INFRASURE 2027: Infrastructure Sustainability and Resilience Forum, an international conference scheduled from 22-24 January 2027 at the IIT Kharagpur Research Park, Kolkata. The conference aims to bring together researchers, academicians, industry leaders, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss cutting-edge developments in sustainable and resilient infrastructure. Covering diverse themes such as transportation systems, earthquake engineering, hydrologic and hydraulic systems, environmental monitoring, digital construction technologies, artificial intelligence, machine learning, energy recovery, and sustainability, INFRASURE 2027 will serve as a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovation. Through technical presentations, poster sessions, and peer-reviewed publications, the forum seeks to foster interdisciplinary solutions that address the evolving challenges of infrastructure development in a rapidly changing world.
